National Honor Society

     Chickasaw Elementary School is a proud chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. The
purpose of the National Junior Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a
desire to provide community service, to promote leadership, to develop character and to
encourage good citizenship in our students.

     In order to be inducted in to Chickasaw Elementary School’s chapter of the National Elementary
Honor Society (NEHS) students must have earned A Honor Roll or A/B Honor Roll for three out of
the past four quarters of school. Students must also exhibit Chieftain PRIDE (prepared, respect,
integrity, determination, and excellence).

    The purpose of the National Junior Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship,
stimulate a desire to provide community service, to promote leadership, to develop character and
to encourage good citizenship in our students.
