About the Teacher
Ms. Tammye Harvey
My name is Tammye Harvey. Although I’ve been teaching 4th grade for the last several years, this is my first year at Chickasaw Elementary School. I moved to this area in June and I am enjoying exploring the area.
I’m excited to teach your children, and I hope to instill in them a love of reading! I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Education from the University of Mobile. I am currently pursuing my National Board Certification.
When I'm not in school, I love to spend time with my two daughters - Lexy is 25 and Hali-Ana is 22. I love to watch football during the fall and softball in the spring. Being close to the water is my "happy place".
