Jackson, Rakiya (First Grade)

My name is Rakiya Jackson and I’m a first-year kindergarten teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I’m proud to be teaching in the same school system I graduated from, having attended high school right here in this community. It’s a full-circle moment for me, and I’m excited to give back to the district that helped shape who I am. I’m passionate about creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and ready to learn.
