Patrick, Deborah (PE Paraprofessional)

I am entering my fourth year of employment with Chickasaw City Schools. My first year was spent at the RISE Center on the Central Office Campus. Although that experience was incredibly rewarding, I feel extremely blessed to now be part of the CES/CIS tribe in the Physical Education department.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medical Services and have worked as an educator in both post-secondary education and various industries for over twenty years. I am certified by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and I am a certified instructor in ACLS, PALS, CPR/AED, First Aid, and Wilderness Rescue. While I am no longer active in EMS, I maintain her Alabama paramedic license to continue my work as an educator.

I have two daughters, both of whom have pursued careers in early childhood education. I am extremely proud of them, and we continue to share a close and special bond.

In my free time, I enjoy kayaking, hiking, and outdoor adventures. In 2015, my daughters and I hiked over a thousand miles of the Appalachian Trail during a four-and-a-half-month journey. We have also taken several long-distance kayak trips on rivers throughout the United States. When I am not exploring the outdoors, I enjoy relaxing, four-wheeling, and spending time with my dogs on my river property.
