Mrs. Mercedes Rivero

My name is Mercedes Rivero and I am the Library Media Specialist. I have been working with Chickasaw Elemenatary School since it was established in 2012. I enjoy being a part of the growing Chickasaw Family.

I started in education as a tutor in the public school system then became a paraprofessional and substitute teacher.

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and I am of Cuban decent. I speak, read, and write  Spanish fluently. My family and I moved to Alabama in 2008. I have two beautiful daughters and enjoy spending time with my family.
