Greetings!

I'm Addie Vaughn, your child's school counselor at CES and the Early Learning Center. I've been an educator for over 35 years. I've been blessed to have found a profession that I love and one in which I believe is also my calling in life. I love helping our children learn to navigate this chapter of their lives. 

Serving as the school counselor is the highlight of my educational career and I absolutely love it! Social-Emotional Learning is vital to the total development of a child and helps them grow as learners, with powerful benefits not just for school, but for a lifetime. I desire to build better students who will be better people! 

My husband Michael Sr. and I have been married for 41 years! We are the grateful and proud parents of three wonderful adult sons, Michael, Mark, and Matthew Vaughn. Our oldest son is married to an extraordinary young lady, LaTasha, and they have given us our two amazing grandsons, Michael T. and Mason. I don't have a lot of time for hobbies, but I do enjoy spending time with my family, music and dancing, reading, and my little Maltese dog, Bo. 

As your child's school counselor, I feel fortunate to be able to bring my career experiences as a life-long educator and my personal experiences as a parent who has successfully raised children into wonderful adults. It is our desire that all of our students are successful academically, socially, and emotionally, which will enable them to become adults who are productive citizens of our society.
